Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join a highly regulated advanced manufacturing business on a contract basis in Sheffield. The role focuses on multi-axis CNC machining, CAM programming, and DFM/NPIs.

You will work with Siemens NX tooling and fixture design, read GD&T drawings, and drive proof-out of new processes for aerospace or medical device components.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-axis CNC machining & programming experience.
• Strong CAM experience in HyperMill, Mastercam and/or Vericut.
• Milling, turning and ideally mill-turn experience.
• Experience machining complex, high-precision components.
• Strong Siemens NX experience, including tooling & fixture design.
• Confident reading drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with NPI, DFM, process development and production prove-out.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace or medical device experience highly desirable.
• Engineering apprenticeship or degree.

Contract: 6-12 months
