About the Role

Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Plant 3D CAD Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis in Warrington. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact EPC projects across different industry in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, and Food.

As a CAD admin, you will play a pivotal role in configuring and maintaining AutoCAD Plant 3D environments, supporting design teams, and ensuring optimal performance of CAD and PDM systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Plant CAD Admin, you will configure and customize AutoCAD Plant 3D setups to meet company and client standards. Create and maintain piping specifications, catalogues, and custom report files.

You will provide technical support to designers and engineers on CAD applications and administer CAD and PDM systems, including user access and data management.

Support continuous improvement of CAD workflows and processes. Mentor users in the effective use of 3D CAD tools. Manage templates, reports, and system preferences.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in CAD administration with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Background in EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, or Food sectors.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and piping engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with other disciplines such as Instrumentation, Civil/Structural, and Process.
  • Knowledge of piping specifications and CAD data management practices.
  • Desirable: Experience with Autodesk Vault, laser scanning, and pipe support catalogue development.
  • Qualifications: HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering and Plant 3D certifications (preferred).
