Job description

Our client is a market leader in providing noise control products into the Commercial sector, specializing in the design and manufacture of noise control products with particular expertise in products such as Acoustic Enclosures, Acoustic Louvres, and Attenuators.

They are urgently looking for a CAD Acoustics Engineer to join their expanding team near Reading.

Requirements

1. Degree qualification in Acoustics or a closely related discipline.
2. Postgraduate qualification or Institute of Acoustics diploma.
3. Some direct working experience using AUTOCAD in a commercial environment.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. High numeracy skills.
6. Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks software.

Duties

1. Producing design drawings using AUTOCAD.
2. Inputting into the design of power generation products and industrial silencers.
3. Liaising with sales staff, clients, and other industry contacts.
4. Drawing up detailed schematics, layouts, and documentation.
