We’re currently supporting a UK-wide legacy infrastructure decommissioning programme for some of the UK’s largest telecom providers, and we are seeking experienced Cabling Decommissioning Technicians to join our team!

This is a hands-on, field-based role suitable for individuals with strong technical skills and experience in removing legacy coaxial infrastructure from headend and switch room environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Recovering and removing coaxial cabling from overhead trays and switch rooms
• Conducting basic signal testing to confirm circuit disconnection
• Working at heights using ladders or platforms, with a safety-first approach
• Labeling and documenting recovered cables and hardware

Requirements:

• Previous experience in coaxial or telecom decommissioning
• Comfortable working at heights and in structured cabling environments
• Able to work independently and follow technical procedures
• Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
