Job summary

Prysmian Group UK High Voltage is seeking experienced EHV Cable Jointers to support project and maintenance work across the UK, with potential international travel. Experience joining XLPE or fluid-filled cables in 66kV to 400kV ranges, with minimum certification of 275kV, is essential.

You will work from Prysmian’s jointing schools in the UK and Italy, enjoy access to our training programmes, and benefit from a competitive salary, overtime, private medical insurance and pension schemes.

Within our UK High Voltage business our team of experienced and highly skilled Cable Technicians (Cable Jointers and Fluid Technicians) are deployed to undertake Jointing and associated works on the High Voltage cables systems that form a significant component of the UK’s energy grid. This could be maintenance of the current network or assisting with the installation of new energy sources.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced EHV Cable Jointers to be deployed on both project and maintenance activities throughout the UK (with the opportunity for international travel).

Candidates should have experience of jointing either XLPE or fluid filled cables within the voltage range of 66kV to 400kV (with a minimum experience and certification of 275kV)
