Arthur Rose Recruitment are looking for Machine Operatives for our long standing client in Doncaster, DN5 (South Yorkshire). Pay rate £12.71 - £13.98 per hour.

Shifts: Days and Nights (on rotation) 4on3off - 3on4off Duties include running winding, extrusion, or production machinery safely and efficiently; feeding materials; monitoring for faults; inspecting cables; keeping the area safe and tidy; and helping hit daily manufacturing deadlines with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical, repetitive manual work, including standing for long periods and lifting.
• Precision when monitoring machinery, measuring cables, and inspecting finished products for quality defects.
• Basic skills to read production schedules, follow safety sheets, and accurately record counts or measurements.
• Strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including wearing correct PPE in a loud or busy factory environment.
• Strong timekeeping habits to support a team that relies on consistent attendance, especially across rotating shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Run winding, extrusion, or production machinery safely and efficiently according to output targets.
• Feed raw materials and components into production lines and load or unload finished cable products.
• Watch equipment during operation to check for faults, inspect finished cables, and ensure standards are met.
• Carry out repetitive manual tasks, including boxing up finished goods, measuring, or manual winding where required.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards while following health and safety rules.
• Work alongside the wider production and warehouse team to hit daily manufacturing deadlines.
