Field Source Marketing Research Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of complex offshore infrastructure projects.

This senior leadership role covers project execution, vessel operations, subcontractors, and client relationships across marine and subsea works. The successful candidate will drive operational performance, safety standards, and project success while mentoring teams and contributing to tenders and bids.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine Studies, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering subsea cable installation and offshore projects.
• Strong background in project and operational management.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a specialist engineering and marine services organisation in the search for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of complex offshore infrastructure projects.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing project execution, vessel operations, subcontractors, and client relationships across a portfolio of marine and subsea works. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational performance, safety standards, and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of offshore infrastructure projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
• Manage offshore teams, marine assets, and specialist subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, work methods, and supporting documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with subcontractors and key suppliers.
• Provide operational and technical input during tender and bid activities.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine Studies, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering subsea cable installation, cable repair, export cable, array cable, interconnector, or offshore transmission projects.
• Significant experience within offshore, marine, subsea, or offshore wind environments.
• Strong background in project and operational management.
• Experience coordinating vessels, offshore personnel, and specialist subcontractors.
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting tenders and project planning activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of offshore operations, logistics, and project delivery environments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and client-facing project delivery activities.
