Cable Moulding Technician (Subsea Equipment)

Are you from an electronics or electrical engineering background looking for an outstanding opportunity with a specialist company who put staff development as its first priority?

Would you like to work as a specialist in subsea equipment with excellent opportunities to train and progress with the business?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, and oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding, creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

The Role

  1. Wiring, termination, and moulding of cables and connectors
  2. Interpretation of wiring diagrams to complete tasks with excellent attention to detail
  3. Correct use of electrical test equipment
  4. Preparation of materials and parts used in cable manufacturing following company procedures
  5. Inspection of cables and report generation following company procedures
  6. Continue to build and expand knowledge of cable and connector types and processes
  7. Consistently demonstrate the ability to observe and promote safe working practices

The Person:
  1. Previous soldering, cable, and connector manufacturing experience with the ability to interpret wiring diagrams
  2. High attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication skills
