Job summary

SP Energy Networks in Liverpool is seeking a Craft Attendant (Jointing) to support the jointing team and assist the craftsman with preparatory work and finalise tasks on completion of jointing activities. The role emphasises safety and on-site coordination, with opportunities to learn and grow within a large utility network.

You will be part of a collaborative team, using your driving licence and manual handling capabilities to support site operations, while benefiting from a comprehensive range

Qualifications

• Driving licence required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and cable jointing desirable.
• Experience in energy, construction, or utility industry advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist jointers in cable jointing and related activities.
• Prepare work sites including excavation and trenching.
• Handle, transport and organise materials and tools.
• Follow health and safety guidelines on site.
• Maintain records of jointing activities and material usage.
• Pursue training opportunities to develop jointing skills.
