IEW Ltd (Industrial Electronic Wiring Ltd) have been in business for 45 years and has become a highly experienced SME in its field, having established the company as a subcontract electronic manufacturer that builds bespoke complex Electrical Panels, Cables, Plc controllers and PCBs to our clients' specification.

The Role:
Assembly of cables to Customers Specifications / Drawing whilst maintaining a high level of Quality and building efficiently. Reports to the Cell Leader.

Key Objectives:

• Assembling of units to the required Customer / IEW build standard.
• Working in an efficient manner, adhering to health & safety procedures
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of quality.
• Ability to work to deadlines.

Skills and Competencies required:

• Ability to read and understand Customer Drawings and build instructions.
• Experienced in soldering and crimping.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take charge of your own personal development.
• Flexibility.
• Able to use measuring tools with a great attention to detail.
• Be a good relationship builder with team building.

Areas of focus:

• Cable assembly with a variety of D connectors, solder connectors, crimped connectors.
• Familiarity with Fischer, Molex, Lemo, Binder, Harting, Amphenol connectors advantageous.
• Quality is of paramount importance. Training is provided for specific requirements.
