Job summary

Holt Engineering in Portsmouth is collaborating with a growing manufacturer to recruit a Cable Assembler. The role involves building cable harnesses, following technical drawings and instructions, and ensuring high-quality results.

You will cut, strip, crimp, terminate cables and solder connectors with IPC 620 experience desirable. You’ll perform heat shrinking and quality checks to ensure precision in production.

What you'll be doing As a Cable Assembler:

• Building and assembling cable harnesses to a high standard
• Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating cables
• Soldering connectors and cable assemblies (IPC 620 experience desirable)
• Heat shrinking and carrying out quality checks to ensure precision

What we're looking for as a Cable Assembler:

• Previous cable assembly experience within an electrical manufacturing environment
• Confident soldering and working with electrical components
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Able to work efficiently to production deadlines
