Flexjet is seeking an Interior Woodshop Technician. This position is located in Peterborough, ON, CA.

Job Description

Interior Woodshop Technicians are responsible for the building, assembly and finishing of various components for the interior of the aircraft during refurbishment such as cabinets, galleys, lavatories, wardrobes, tables, etc. In addition to working with wood components and high-grade veneers, technicians will also work with composite and other light-weight materials.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior woodworking experience.
  • Comfortable using all different types of woodworking equipment.
  • Strong mathematical knowledge and the ability to make accurate measurements.
  • Demonstrated ability to finish materials to a high-level of quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings is required.

Assets

  • Additional trade certifications or education in woodworking, woodwork manufacturing or millwork.

Working Hours

This is a full-time (FT) position where hours will change due to business operational needs and flexibility is required. At present, the standard hours of work are 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
