Job summary

National Trust is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker (Bespoke Joinery) in Royal Leamington Spa. You will take bespoke joinery projects from conception to completion, interpret drawings, select materials, and carry out high-quality manual machining.

You will mentor an apprentice and help uphold craftsmanship standards while working Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:30, with on-site parking and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Cabinet Maker.
• Knowledge of veneering is essential.
• Background working in bespoke cabinet making environments.

Role Description

Your role will entail taking bespoke joinery projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for:

• Agreeing project objectives
• Interpreting drawings and specifications
• Applying critical thinking to identify and raise potential issues
• Selecting appropriate materials
• Carrying out manual machining operations to the highest standards

Alongside this, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing an apprentice, supporting their progression and helping to uphold the company's exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
