Job summary

Harris Lord Recruitment has exclusive rights to recruit for a growing cabinet manufacturing operation on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex. We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Assembler to join the team from day one, building quality cabinets for a brand-new production line.

The role involves assembling cabinet carcasses with glue-and-dowel methods and using a Homag press, fitting doors, drawers and Blum hardware, with a strong emphasis on quality control and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous cabinet assembly, joinery or furniture manufacturing experience.
• Experience using a cabinet press / glue-and-dowel assembly methods.
• Confidence fitting hinges, runners, doors and drawers.
• Good understanding of cutting lists and cabinet components.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinet carcasses using glue-and-dowel methods and a Homag cabinet press.
• Fit doors, drawer fronts, Blum hinges and runners.
• Check components before assembly to ensure finished cabinets meet standards.
