A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to support Autism and ADHD assessments. This part-time role involves working with Clinical Psychologists, contributing to evaluations, and developing skills in report writing. Ideal candidates have experience with neurodiverse children and interpersonal skills, contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team environment.
This role is offered on a fixed term basis for up to 6 months. The hours are part time at 22.5 hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, thoughtful team member who can support assessments such as the QB, join multidisciplinary Autism and ADHD assessments, and support the team to evaluate the service and complete audits. The post holder will work closely with and be supervised by Clinical Psychologists within the team alongside the service lead, and will be offered support and training where required. We are keen to welcome an Assistant Psychologist who has a positive, can-do attitude and is able to work both independently and as part of the team.
This is an opportunity within the Gloucestershire Children\'s Autism and ADHD assessment Service (CAAAS) as part of transforming neurodiversity provision for under 18s and developing a NICE compliant autism and ADHD assessment pathway. The post is suitable for Band 4 Assistant Psychologist within the NHS framework.
