Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Class 1 Driver (Days) to support a three-person transport team across multiple depots and operations. You will cover driver absences, deliver goods to customers, and assist with vehicle movements to workshops and trunking between depots. Flexibility and proactivity are essential to meet changing operational needs.

About the role

Class 1 Driver (Days)

This role provides flexible support across a variety of transport operations within the Class 1 Driver function. Start times will vary depending on operational requirements.

The successful candidate will become the third member of a three-person team, providing cover across multiple areas of the transport department. Responsibilities may include:

• Covering driver absences and annual leave.
• Delivering goods to customers.
• Transporting vehicles to and from workshops for maintenance and repairs.
• Trunking between company depots.
• Supporting additional transport activities as required.

This is a varied role requiring flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of the transport operation. Please note that the duties listed above are not exhaustive and may change in line with business requirements.
