Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a C1 Delivery Driver for our Coalville, Leicestershire operation. You will operate a 5T Mercedes Sprinter, making multi-drop deliveries of food and drink wholesale products across Leicestershire.

A valid C1 licence, Digi and CPC cards, and a clean driving record are required. The role starts at 06:00 Monday to Friday, with physical loading/unloading and a view to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with C1 qualification.
• Digi Card and CPC Card required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Must be available for an immediate start.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-drop orders of food and drink wholesale products across Leicestershire.
• Load and unload goods by hand.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain strong client relations.
• Adhere to start times (06:00) and complete shifts Mon-Fri.

Job Description

Excellent opportunity for a C1 Delivery Driver to join our team in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Operating a 5T Mercedes Sprinter, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of food and drink wholesale products throughout Leicestershire. Due to the vehicle weight, a valid C1 licence is required for this role.
This position features regular 6:00 starts across the working week. Because you will be loading and unloading wholesale goods by hand, candidates must be physically fit with no restrictions regarding manual handling.
About you:
You will be a reliable, professional driver with good knowledge of the Leicestershire area. You must have strong customer facing skills and be happy working towards a permanent role within the company.

Duration: Ongoing work on a temp to perm basis offering full time hours with an immediate start.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This position pays a great rate of £14.10 per hour PAYE. You will accrue holiday up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday position starting from 06:00. Finish times will vary throughout the week but usually around 16:00.
