Duties and Role:

Under the direction of NSO OFM 0020, the incumbent will perform duties such as maintaining network and communications infrastructure, supporting configuration management, asset management audits, diagnosing network issues, installing and supporting ICT infrastructure, managing maintenance, supporting project work, monitoring ICT performance, supporting IT service continuity, liaising with internal and external teams, responding to ITSM tickets, performing system maintenance, staying updated on technological developments, investigating technical issues, advising superiors, working independently, deputizing for higher staff, and other duties as required.

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Higher vocational training with 2 years post-related experience or secondary education with 4 years experience
• Experience in NATO or NCI Agency, familiar with organizational concepts
• ITIL Foundation Certificate
• CISCO Certified Network Associate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in Network Routing and Switching, with expertise in satellite or terrestrial radio communication systems or media delivery systems

Desirable Experience and Education:

• Knowledge of Harris Radio 117F/117G, GGR Cornet Matrix, VTC & AV systems, SEMARCOMM+ / SEMARCIS, INMARSAT, IPTV/Digital signage
• Experience working in an international military and civilian environment
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organizations
