Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm seeking a seasoned engineer to design and implement a high-frequency trading platform for cryptocurrency markets. You will optimize latency with advanced network and systems programming, and build tools to measure throughput and latency.

The role covers access to historical data and trading simulations for global markets. The team values problem solving, strong programming skills in C++, Linux proficiency, and familiarity with crypto

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5-7 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and OO programming in C++.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and exchange APIs is a plus.
• Linux knowledge; TCP/IP and UDP networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform for cryptocurrency markets.
• Optimizing this platform by using network and systems programming to minimize latency.
• Analyzing system throughput and latency performance and building performance-tracking tools.
• Developing systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations.
