C# Software Engineer / Developer (Windows Desktop Trading Systems) London to £140k

Are you a seasoned Software Engineer with strong C# desktop development skills combined with banking / financial services experience?

You could be progressing your career at a Hedge Fund with over $10 billion under management.

As a C# Software Engineer, you will work on critical systems across front, middle, and back office to support trading, operations, finance, compliance, and investor relations. Your focus will be on building C#, WinForms, WPF desktop applications, and designing scalable, service-oriented architectures (SOA). You will also gain exposure to web applications using React and/or Angular.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You will collaborate with colleagues in the US and Canada and be the sole resource on these systems for the UK.

Location / WFH:

Work in the London office with flexibility to work from home once a week. The environment is friendly and collaborative, with casual dress and facilities.

About you:

• Strong C# desktop development experience on Windows within banking or financial services
• Good knowledge of SQL databases
• Understanding of asset classes such as Fixed Income and Equities
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, UI development, and cloud computing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
