DW Search Ltd. is working with a specialist technology consultancy delivering a major engineering transformation programme for a leading global financial markets organisation.

They are seeking experienced C++ Software Engineers to join a dedicated team working on high-performance, real-time systems in London, with hybrid working 2–3 days onsite. The role focuses on building, enhancing and integrating production software, emphasising modern C++, multithreading and low-latency engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial C++ development experience.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency and multicore programming.
• Experience developing high-performance or low-latency software.
• Knowledge of software design principles, data structures and debugging.
• Experience with unit testing, code reviews and modern engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality production software using modern C++.
• Build and optimise multithreaded, multicore applications in performance-critical environments.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot complex issues and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, refactoring and integration activities.
• Develop unit tests and support automated integration and regression testing.

We're working with a specialist technology consultancy delivering a major engineering transformation programme for a leading global financial markets organisation.

They're looking for experienced C++ Software Engineers to join a dedicated engineering team working on complex, high-performance, real-time systems.

This is a hands-on development role focused on building, enhancing and integrating production software, with particular emphasis on modern C++, multithreading and low-latency engineering.

You'll work alongside experienced technical leads, software engineers and quality engineering specialists to deliver reliable, scalable solutions within a business-critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality production software using modern C++.
• Build and optimise multithreaded, multicore applications operating in performance-critical environments.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot complex issues and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, refactoring and integration activities.
• Develop unit tests and support automated integration and regression testing.
• Work within established Git, CI/CD and automated testing workflows.

• Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues.
