Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Software Developer to join our Hull team. You will write clean C#/.NET back-end code, optimise PostgreSQL queries and contribute to database design.

The role requires collaboration with QA, frontend and product teams, plus adherence to UKGC-regulated standards. You will work in a small, friendly development group, five days a week in Hull, with typical 37.5 hours and a salary of £28,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional coding experience in C#/.NET.
• Strong PostgreSQL query skills and basic SQL optimisation.
• Experience using Git for version control and code reviews.
• Experience writing unit tests and working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable C#/.NET code for features and backend services.
• Investigate and resolve live system bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with QA, frontend, product and delivery teams to scope work.
• Review pull requests and contribute code for quality and consistency.
• Ensure changes meet regulatory standards in a UKGC-licensed environment.
• Contribute to database design and PostgreSQL maintenance.
• Support build and release processes and staging tests.
• Deliver well-tested code on schedule and assist sprint goals.
• Take ownership, meet deadlines and maintain professional conduct.
