Full-time C# Developer - Energy Trading Systems (Remote/Brighton)

Location: South-East/Brighton, UK (Remote with occasional Brighton visits)

A boutique company is seeking a talented C# Developer with 10-15+ years of experience in .NET to maintain and enhance a critical Position Management system for a major UK Energy Trading house. Experience in Front Office energy trading (Gas & Power) or commodities, and direct interaction with Traders, is essential.

Advantages: Trayport API knowledge, Energy Trading Front Office experience.

Personal Attributes: UK-based (no visa restrictions), self-motivated, capable of remote work with minimal guidance, and comfortable with occasional travel to Brighton (1-2 times per month).

Package: Fully remote, with occasional travel expenses reimbursed, options for BYOD or company-provided equipment, and a negotiable salary (£60,000 to £80,000 per year based on experience) plus performance bonuses. The environment is delivery-focused with no micromanagement. This is a direct hire position only (no agencies). Only UK citizens and permanent residents will be considered.
