Full-time C# Developer - Energy Trading Systems (Remote/Brighton)

Location: South-East/Brighton, UK (Remote with occasional Brighton visits)

A boutique company is seeking a talented C# Developer (10-15+ years .NET) to maintain and enhance a critical Position Management system for a major UK Energy Trading house. Experience in Front Office energy trading (Gas & Power) or commodities, and direct interaction with Traders, are essential.

Advantages: Trayport API knowledge, Energy Trading Front Office experience.

Personal Attributes: UK-based (no visa restrictions), self-motivated, able to work remotely with minimal guidance, and comfortable with occasional visits to Brighton (1-2 times monthly).

Package: Fully remote work, occasional travel expenses reimbursed, BYOD or company-provided equipment, negotiable salary (£60,000 to £80,000 per year based on experience) + performance bonus. The environment is delivery-focused with no micromanagement. Only direct hire candidates (no agencies). Only UK citizens and permanent residents will be considered. The company will not sponsor visas.
