Job summary

Electronic Arts in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and integrate runtime machine learning solutions within Frostbite. You will collaborate with game teams, engine developers, and researchers to bring ML models into EA games through on‑device execution.

The role requires strong C++ skills, experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and a track record shipping real‑time ML systems. GPU programming and ONNX experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C++, incl. multithreading and performance optimization.
• Experience profiling and optimising real-time software.
• Experience with software fundamentals: version control, code reviews, automated tests, CI/CD, and Agile development.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience shipping end-to-end ML systems in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, adapt, extend, and improve existing ML runtime technologies.
• Collaborate with ML experts to scale models for on-device performance.
• Translate ML concepts and risks for diverse audiences.
• Build end-to-end solutions for running ML models across devices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and well-tested code.
• Stay current with DL/ RL/ Generative AI advancements and explore applications.
• Share knowledge and mentor teammates across ML/AI communities.
