Job summary

Electronic Arts seeks a Software Engineer to advance runtime machine learning in Frostbite. You will partner with game teams and researchers to deploy ML models inside EA games, reporting to the Engine Development lead.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C++ and real-time systems.
• Experience profiling and optimizing real-time software performance.
• Strong fundamentals: version control, testing, documentation, CI/CD, and Agile.
• Experience building and shipping end-to-end ML systems in production.
• Knowledge of GPU programming and ML model graph representations (ONNX).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, adapt, and extend runtime ML technologies and build new solutions.
• Collaborate with ML experts to scale models for on-device performance.
• Translate ML concepts and tradeoffs for diverse audiences.
• Deliver end-to-end ML solutions across multiple devices.
• Write clean, well-tested code that integrates with existing systems.
• Stay current with DL, RL, GenAI and related industry developments.
