Job description

Within the Engineering function of Framatome Ltd, the C&I Engineer performs C&I studies for Framatome Ltd projects and ensures on time and on cost delivery. He also supports the company's growth and strengthens the technical skills in the C&I field.**Key Activities:**In close co-ordination with the Lead Engineer on site, perform C&I studies, including site surveys, analysis of input data, clarification requests, identification of interfaces, link with other disciplines.Ensure the resolution of open point within the team and participates to the resolution of cross-functional technical issues with multidisciplinary stakeholders, internal or external including the Client.Produce site surveys, control architecture drawings, block diagrams, requirement specifications for control panels, instruments, etcSupport on-site installation activities.Support the develpment of bids: analyse the contract requirements regarding C&I, identify the appropriate resources, plan the work. If needed, he can prepare work packages to be subcontracted and participate to kick-off meetings with subcontractors.Present and shares progress to the Lead Engineer and to the Management.Contribute to the development of the C&I skills within the Engineering function, in particular the training and mentoring of newcomers.**Projects outputs**: site surveys, control architecture drawings, block diagrams, requirement specifications for control panels, instruments, etc.Continuous improvement outputs: contributions, suggestions, lessons learnt, experience feedback from projects and to continuous improvement actions.**Training & Development expectations:**- Engineer with several years of experience in layout and piping.- Software and tools: Microsoft Word/Excel, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autocad, E3D/PDMS- Key competencies: Interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, influencing skills, ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative, ability to multi-task, logical thinking, results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines.- Good knowledge of standards like BS EN IEC 60709, BS 60073, standards relating to electromagntic compatibility BS EN IEC 52003 and 61000, and standards relating to intruments, cables, wiring.**Person Specification:**- Experience in C&I in industry, ideally in the nuclear industry.- Can communicate easily with other discipline and can help solving multi-disciplinary problems.**Specialization:** TAA - Design, engineering management & Systems engineering**Level of education (all)** Bachelor**Place:** United Kingdom, Europe, Sizewell (UK)**Employment level:** Cadre
