Job summary

Pure Talent Group is seeking a C++ Game Developer in the Midlands with a hybrid work setup (office a few times per week). You will develop and optimise interactive games, translating JavaScript logic into C++ for high performance and stability.

Ideal candidates have ~2 years of commercial C++ experience, exposure to JavaScript, and a desire to break into iGaming. Great benefits and a collaborative team await.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in C++ development (modern C++20/23).
• Experience developing games or interactive applications.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming (e.g. coroutines).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with JSON.
• Git or other source control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise interactive games with design, art and QA teams.
• Translate and refactor JavaScript game logic into modern C++ for performance and stability.
• Debug, profile and optimise performance; ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Write clear, testable and well-documented code; participate in code reviews.
