Market Data Team Lead – Low Latency Trading

Crypto trading firm is seeking a Market Data Team Lead to oversee the architecture, performance, and delivery of low-latency data infrastructure powering latency-sensitive trading strategies.

This team is responsible for company-wide real-time data transport—optimising venue connectivity, data encoding, and memory usage across a globally distributed system.

You’ll lead a small team of high-calibre engineers, with hands-on ownership of system design, performance tuning, and venue onboarding. The scope includes kernel bypass, lock-free data structures, NUMA-aware design, and real-time packet processing.

Requirements:

• Strong C++ and Linux systems programming
• Deep knowledge of market data protocols and low-latency networks (WebSockets, TCP/UDP)
• Experience leading technical teams in high-performance environments
• Experience with market data in either traditional finance or crypto
