Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in the UK is recruiting a qualified Class 2 Powered Access Driver to deliver and collect MEWPs and other access equipment. The role covers loading and securing gear, performing safety checks, and providing excellent customer service on-site and on the road.

You will operate a rigid truck, comply with safety regulations and complete digital delivery records. A full UK manual licence with up to 6 points is required, with a focus on local area knowledge and team ESG alignment.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the local area and surroundings.
• Strong customer focus when delivering and collecting equipment.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Ability to support the business ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading and transporting powered access equipment using a rigid truck.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Delivering excellent customer service at each delivery and collection.
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Communicating with transport and hire desk teams to coordinate operations.
• Adhering to road traffic and health & safety regulations.
