Job summary

TipTopJob in Barking, Essex, seeks an experienced C+E HGV Driver for a full-time, permanent role based in the South East. You will work on palletised deliveries to commercial premises, with a focus on cargo care rather than speed, and you will be paid weekly with a consistent schedule.

Working hours start early (5–6am) Mon–Fri with no nights out, 11-hour days, and opportunities for overtime. You will secure pallets, perform daily checks, and coordinate with the office for consignments and ETA

Qualifications

• Experience driving C+E HGVs and palletised cargo.
• Must have valid digital tachograph and CPC card.
• Driver role requires safety-focused and reliable performance.

Responsibilities

• Secure pallets and perform daily tachograph and vehicle checks.
• Work 11-hour days with 5/6am starts, Mon–Fri, no nights out.
• Prepare routes and load positioning to minimize disruption.
• Deliver to commercial premises across the South East; call ahead for ETA.
