Job summary

EVO in Lutterworth is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (C+E) to join our logistics team. You will contribute to timely deliveries across the UK, perform vehicle checks, load/unload when needed, and ensure accurate documentation and fuel card readiness.

A safety-first, customer-focused approach is essential. Applicants must hold a C+E licence with DCPC and Digital Tachograph experience, plus a proven HGV driving record.

Qualifications

• C+E Category Licence required.
• DCPC qualification and Digital Tachograph experience essential.
• Proven experience driving HGV vehicles.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-journey).
• Load/unload as required and secure goods.
• Depart on time with all documents and fuel cards.
• Deliver and collect items safely at customer sites.
• Operate MHE where trained and necessary.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused attitude at all times.
• Record deliveries using handheld devices (HHT).
• Return vehicles clean, refueled and in good working condition.
• Adhere to traffic laws, drivers hours regulations and company policies.
• Wear uniform and PPE as required.
