Job summary

Nexus Jobs in London is seeking a skilled .NET developer to re-architect our in-house middle office platform and integrate with a new trading platform. The role is based in the City with some remote working.

You'll build pricing toolsets, connect reporting and APIs, and maintain daily operations on existing platforms. We look for 3–5 years' experience with C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and SQL Server, and a degree in computer science preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience developing with C# .NET and Microsoft web technologies.
• Experience with SQL Server relational databases.
• Ability to build relationships with sales, brokers, middle office and vendors.
• Produce clean, well-written, fully tested, production-ready software.
• Desirable: knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Desirable: FX trade processing knowledge.
• Desirable: FX products knowledge; training provided.
• Computer science degree preferred.
• At least 3 years in a comparable development role.

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience developing with C# .NET and Microsoft web technologies, including C# and ASP.NET Core MVC
• Relational database experience, specifically SQL Server
• Ability to build relationships proactively with stakeholders, including sales, brokers, middle office, and external vendors
• Ability to produce clean, well-written, fully tested, production-ready software
• Desirable: knowledge of the FIX protocol
• Desirable: knowledge of FX trade processing
• Desirable: basic knowledge of foreign exchange products, including vanilla/exotic options and FX cash; training will be given
• A computer science related degree is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable development role
