We are recruiting enthusiastic developers on behalf of our growing client based in South Manchester. The Developer will have the opportunity to work on our client’s flagship product and full access to Microsoft development tools and applications, including Azure DevOps for source control and application lifecycle management.

The C# Developer will be responsible for:

  • Develop high-quality software with efficient code that is uniform and follows set requirements.
  • Undertake development, testing, and deployment of software development projects.
  • Attend internal and external project briefings as required with project managers and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the development, support, and implementation teams.
  • Liaise directly with QA and project managers to clarify specifications and requirements.
  • Work with QA to identify, replicate, and resolve issues from internal and client user acceptance testing, and with customer services for problems reported in live systems.

The C# Developer will have the following skills:

  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, e.g., Karma / Jasmine.
  • Competent in database design, Microsoft SQL Server, and Transact SQL.
  • Experience working with XML, XML schemas, JSON, REST, SOAP, and Web Services.
  • Web server administration skills, such as IIS hosting and web service setup.
  • Ability to follow and improve upon code produced by other team members.
