Job Description: C++ Developer in Low-Latency Trading Firm

Based in London, Chicago, Sydney, and Amsterdam, they are expanding their low-latency team and seek a developer proficient in modern C++ (C++11 onwards). The role involves designing, building, and maintaining the entire software stack used in-house for trading over $175 billion of assets daily.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C++11 onwards, with experience in a post-2011 codebase.
• Understanding of computer architecture concepts such as caching, paging, system calls, and the execution pipeline in modern CPUs.
• Proficiency in mathematics, including calculus and matrices, for designing numerical algorithms.
• Familiarity with common algorithms and data structures, along with their performance considerations.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex software systems is advantageous.
• Experience with Linux and/or Python is a plus but not mandatory.
• Financial industry experience is not required.
