Job description

Position: Games Developer / C# Software Developer

Location: East Midlands area (commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield, and North Birmingham)

Salary: Up to £70K

Global Software client is looking for Software Developers with a Maths, Physics, 3D or Games background.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining and ensuring the responsiveness of applications
2. Collaborating with the engineering team on new feature design and launch
3. Developing cloud-based solutions with messaging and notification APIs in a micro-service architecture
4. Solving complex mathematical and geometric problems
5. Developing 3D graphical and CAD applications

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core
2. Experience with cloud-based solutions and micro-service architecture
3. Strong mathematical and geometric problem-solving abilities
4. Knowledge of 3D graphical/CAD application development
5. Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodology

Knowledge of design patterns (DDD, CQRS), graphics libraries (e.g., Open Cascade, Parasolid, ACIS), and NoSQL database experience (AWS Dynamo preferred, MongoDB or Azure Cosmos considered) are all desired.
