Job summary

HireHi is seeking a senior C++ backend engineer to redevelop a core equity trading system for the EMEA market. You will design, build, and optimise large data‑intensive backends running on Linux, collaborating directly with traders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will own projects from design to delivery, tackle low‑latency and high‑volume data challenges, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ backend development experience.
• Experience working with traders in Front Office trading environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including OOP, Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar STEM discipline.
