This role will be based in Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate across functions with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, devise solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to organizational technology communities.
  • Follow secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect data.
  • Implement effective unit testing to ensure code quality, readability, and reliability.
