Software Developer – C# & .NET
Location: Cambridgeshire (2 days on site)
Salary: £42,749 - £48,654
Contract Type: 2 years fixed term

You’ll work on a variety of projects, from automating processes that improve efficiency to developing and integrating APIs that connect front-line teams, support functions, and external partners.
In this role, you will:
- Develop robust, scalable applications using C# and .NET to enhance service operations
- Design, maintain, and integrate Web Services and APIs (REST, SOAP) to improve system connectivity
- Solve complex technical challenges, working closely with the Development Team to meet operational and strategic needs
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver practical, high-impact solutions
- Ensure best practices in development, maintaining high-quality, consistent, and secure coding standards
- Contribute to technical documentation and user guides, supporting both technical teams and end-users
- Strong C# development expertise and experience in a software development environment
- SQL proficiency, with experience using database technologies for querying and optimisation
- Familiarity with web services and APIs (REST, SOAP) for software integration
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
- Experience with web & cloud technologies to support application development
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a team and support non-technical colleagues
- A strong commitment to confidentiality, security, and development best practices
- An agile mindset, with experience working in or alongside agile project teams
