Business Systems are an internal development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Trayport’s internal systems that support business processes and workflows. They work across various areas including billing, revenue data management, reporting, CRM, and bespoke tools for technical and client support teams, ensuring close integration and automation of systems.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled C# Data Developer to join our Business Systems Team. The successful candidate will collaborate with software developers and BI analysts to build robust data pipelines and ensure the efficient storage of key business data across sales, finance, and product usage domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions for critical business data.
• Collaborate with software developers and BI analysts to integrate and optimize data flows.
• Design and implement databases and data warehouses to support business operations.
• Ensure data integrity and security in all processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs for data access and manipulation.
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

The Person

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in C# (or another OOP language) and SQL.
• Experience designing and managing databases and data warehouses.
• Experience working with APIs for data integration.
• ETL experience.
• Ability to manipulate data of various formats.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Familiarity with cloud services and SQL environments on Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.
