C/C++ Software Engineer

New opportunity for a Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join a global wireless company based in Bristol.

I am seeking a bright individual to take an active role in the full development life cycle of software features in PHY products. You will need excellent academic background and should be knowledgeable about CPU architecture, Linux kernel, and the hardware landscape. The following areas of expertise are needed:

1. C/C++ for real-time multithreaded software
2. SIMD software implementation (DSP, Assembly)
3. An understanding of OFDM wireless receivers and DSP
4. Experience in fixed point design, modeling in MATLAB/Octave
5. Some knowledge of Physical layer and Digital Signal Processing (might be academic)

Any knowledge of 3G, 4G, 5G, GIT, Python, and Agile is beneficial but not essential and can be learned on the job.

This role will suit an ambitious individual seeking an opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals on leading-edge development.
