Job summary

MPI Limited is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician for on-site work at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. The role covers airframe structural repairs, sheet metal rectification, and assembly of repair parts.

You'll work in the structures bay and on aircraft, sometimes at height or in confined spaces, with 40-hour weeks, day and evening shifts, and 25 days leave plus bank holidays. Applicants should have an engineering or aviation engineering qualification and legal right to work in the UK;

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised Engineering or Aviation Engineering qualification (BTEC/ONC/NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience with sheet metal rectification and aircraft maintenance desirable.
• Legal right to work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver metal rectification with damage assessment and frame skin replacements.
• Operate workshop machines and hand tools for airframe structural work.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Access technical information via IT systems and maintain records.
• Document all work and ensure accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with team and ensure all repairs are certified.
