Line Up Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician in Bournemouth, UK to assist the Workshop Team Leader with mechanical and structural component maintenance and manufacturing tasks.

The role requires experience in aircraft maintenance, sheet metal work, and strong technical English. You will follow drawings, work to deadlines and budgets, and may require shift patterns and security clearance. A relocation allowance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in aircraft maintenance on base/workshops.
• Background in fabrication in regulated industries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experienced in sheet metal working.
• Good technical English (written and spoken) & basic mathematics.
• Self-motivated with a lateral-solution mindset.
• Proven history meeting tight deadlines and budgetary requirements.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, confident and assertive.
• Willingness to work shift patterns.
• Security clearance to meet UK/ITAR requirements.
• Willingness to progress to Approved Workshop Engineer.

Aufgaben

• Assemble aircraft components from a kit in line with drawings and specifications using solid and blind riveting, bolting.
• Manufacture metal detail components requiring bending and detail fitting, with documentation.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain/repair mechanical and structural components per manufacturer procedures.
• Liaise with relevant departments to complete tasks.
• Certify work within company authorisation.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and entries recorded.
• Highlight tooling requirements to Team Leader and assist with procurement business cases.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the facility and equipment.
