This e-commerce retail platform with operations in the UK & Europe, is currently growing their non-food category team! With 1st class, supply chain at its core & cutting-edge digital solutions, this business is renowned for its innovation and excellence, all within a start-up culture.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Buying Manager - TV, Audio & Speakers to look after categories such as TV's, Home Theatre Systems, Audio Systems, Digital radios & everything in-between!

The roles & responsibilities of this Buying Manager - TV, Audio & Speakers role -

  • Product assortment, providing the best selection of items for consumers at the best price.
  • Developing and managing supplier relationships to ensure they offer the best products to their customers.
  • To build and shape category strategies for large SKU count
  • Lead purchasing and sales activity for the Electronics product category, including TV, indoor entertainment, digital radios & sounds bars.
  • Business development with brands and suppliers, bringing the leading brands on board and exclusive promotions.
  • Analyse key metrics and identify sourcing gaps to derive strategies on how to improve supplier and category performance.
  • Negotiate pricing and cost efficiencies to enhance gross profit margins.
  • Collaborate with international supply chain teams to secure necessary resources and support.

The qualifications of this Buying Manager - TV, Audio & Speakers role -

  • Strong category or buying experience within retail or eCommerce.
  • We are looking for various positions but needing candidates within between 4 – 8 + years’ experience.
  • We are looking for people with passion for their category & can really own, develop & executive the end to end range - this is where the entrepreneurial spirt is needed!
  • This is a high growth business, so need people who are hands on, available and thrive in a fast-paced environment where decision happen quickly.
  • You must have experience in consumer electronics or related categories mentioned.
  • Deep understanding of consumers, with strong market insights and proven purchasing expertise.
  • Established supplier relationships within the household appliance network in the UK.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and logical thinking.
