Are you an experienced Buying Manager looking for an opportunity to work with some of the UK's best-loved brands?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Manager to join our team here at Asda House!

As a Buying Manager, you will collaborate with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver sales, pricing, and growth ahead of the market while managing the category P&L. You will negotiate and implement business plans, understand customer needs, and develop strategies accordingly. Additionally, you will analyze, track, and negotiate around key commodities, delivering cost-to-serve programs with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to meet sales and growth targets
• Negotiate and deliver business plans
• Understand customer needs and implement strategies
• Manage category P&L
• Track and negotiate key commodities to deliver value

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong awareness of customer requirements, market trends, and competitor ranges
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities and innovative product ideas
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence a diverse, branded supplier base
