Join our Team as a Buying Assistant

Position: Buying Assistant

Working Pattern: Full Time

Salary: £25k-£28k

An opportunity to join a growing business and to learn how the Procurement & Supply Chain team support the business. You will work along side our existing team of a Senior Buyer and Buyer and be mentored by our Central Services Director.

The Buying Assistant will support the day-to-day responsibilities of the Buyers, helping the close-knit team to remain compliant, deliver great service to our people, and support our operating businesses.

What You'll Do:
As their Assistant Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in their procurement process. You'll work closely with their buying team to ensure they source the best products and services to support their mission.

• Dealing with internal stakeholder's requests and communicating with them efficiently


• Liaising with supply chain partners


• Requesting quotations from partners


• Placing low value orders


• Administration as directed by the buyers


• Meeting with - and establishing relationships with - our key partners


• Represent the Procurement team, and wider Central Services team, in the best way possible. Build relationships across our business and gain the trust of those around you
