Primary Purpose:
The Buying Administration Assistant will join the Coach Outlet Buying team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support women’s leathergoods and accessories categories with in-season performance and pre-season buy strategies across Outlet Stores, Ecommerce & Wholesale channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Outlet Buying team with trade reviews, seasonal buy reviews, and managing the seasonal milestone calendar.
- Assisting with weekly price changes and promotions, preparing communications, and supporting pricing strategies.
- Supporting the execution of product investment strategies to drive in-season performance against sales and margin targets.
- Contributing to outlet buying strategies through product selections and door assortments.
- Analyzing product performance, customer feedback, trends, and market knowledge to inform decisions.
- Loading buys at SKU level and maintaining accurate SKU plans.
- Partnering with Inventory Management to review inventory and propose actions.
- Contributing to go-to-market assets and line lists for outlet doors.
Candidate requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in buying or merchandising in retail.
- Experience in outlet retail and knowledge of discount pricing and stock strategies is desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and retail math.
- Ability to learn new systems like SAP, RPAS, MicroStrategy, or CORA.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities with analytical recommendations.
