About the role

Kick-start your career with a 1-year placement in our energetic Buying team! You'll play a vital role in keeping products moving into the business—especially across our fast-paced wholesale and international markets—while gaining hands-on experience and building skills that matter.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Buying team on a day to day basis with administration duties.
  • Maintain the critical path and liaise with Suppliers when needed to identify any issues or changes and take action.
  • Raise Purchase Orders numbers and ensure consistent communication across the team.
  • Maintain data integrity on all wholesale and US POs as instructed by supply chain to ensure customs compliance
  • Assist with sample handovers of wholesale and US ranges for photography in line with wholesale and US critical path
  • Coordinate sample handover between Buying team and US wholesale team to send sample sets to US account managers in line with US critical path
  • Keep up to date with current and future trends to be aware of our competitor activity and send round weekly comp report
  • Adhoc duties to assist with wider buying team where additional resource is required, including but not limited to holiday cover for BAAs across all buying teams

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A passion for Buying and footwear.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope under pressure.
  • Aware of current and future trends.
  • Good communication skills.
