Job summary

Kurt Geiger is seeking a proactive Buying Admin for our London team. In this role you will raise POs, manage product data, and support Buyers across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with suppliers, organise samples and assist with range meetings, deadlines, and in-store activities. The ideal candidate has Buying Admin exposure, strong Excel skills, and thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous Buying Admin experience preferred; placement year or internship possible.
  • Keen to grow a career in Buying.
  • Strong MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Proactive, hardworking, relationship builder.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • Team-oriented and confident working in groups.
  • Able to prioritise and manage workload.

Responsibilities

  • Raise PO for the department and track lifecycle.
  • Maintain product lists and deadlines in the system.
  • Manage department's critical path with Buyers.
  • Handle admin, invoices, product data, post and parcels.
  • Manage samples: chasing, storage, requests.
  • Coordinate fit sessions and share comments with suppliers.
  • Prepare for range meetings with sample pulling and sign-off docs.
  • Support Junior Buyer with approvals, storage, lab dips, bulk submissions.
  • Conduct competitive shopping and feedback.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and participate in store visits.

Responsibilities

  • Raise PO for the department, maintain and amend throughout the product lifecycle and ensure accuracy on the system.
  • Ensure product lists are set up correctly and updated on the system, based on changing deadlines. managing critical deadlines in planning and trading.
  • Manage department's critical path, working with the Buyers to ensure the correct delivery date.
  • General admin and filing for the department including invoices, product data and managing and sorting post and parcles.
  • Manage department samples including chasing samples, sample storage and sample request across wholesale, marketing and photography
  • Product for fit sessions and share comments with suppliers.
  • Support the team in preparing for range meetings, including sample pulling and organising sign off documents when needed.
  • Support Junior Buyer with approvals process, managing product storage, lab dips, yarn dips and bulk submissions.
  • Carry out comp shops to develop knowledge of the current market and feedback to the team as necessary.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Take part in in-store visits and provide detailed feedback to the Buyers and Merchandising team.
  • Previous experience within a Buying Admin role preferable (placement year or internship experience will be considered)
  • Passionate about gaining experience and developing a career in Buying
  • String MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Proactive, hard-working & excellent at building relationships
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Works confidently in team environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
