Buying Admin Assistant - Technology Department

The Buyer's Admin Assistant role reports to a Senior Category Manager. You will work together to deliver the best ranges for our customers, managing the administration of the department and ensuring all systems are up to date. The goal is to deliver a profitable, customer-centric range and provide daily administrative support to the category.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the buying team with their administration
  • Keeping information accurate and up-to-date in all relevant systems and databases
  • Maintaining the critical path, including product setup, visual presentation, and brand reviews
  • Supporting weekly analysis of the technology market, customer activity, sales, and trends
  • Assisting with weekly trade meetings through best-seller reports
  • Performing ad hoc duties as part of providing full administrative support to the buying team

Ways of Working

We offer hybrid working, depending on the role. Our Head Office is located in Manchester City Centre, well-connected by public transport and surrounded by cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Our full-time hours are 36.17 per week over 5 days, with flexible start and finish times between 8-10am and 4-6pm, depending on business needs.
